“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?” said Alice.
“That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,” said the Cat.
“I don’t much care where—” said Alice.
“Then it doesn’t matter which way you go,” said the Cat

Entrepreneurs and Business Owners to lead reality-driven lives guided by a Dream-focused compass.

Massive dreams and extraordinary goals don’t arrive by chance. Most overnight successes are usually the result of many years of hard work and dedication.

But, only working hard without an end goal is like running in place on a treadmill.

This is why the concept of a dream compass is so important.

Life is full of twists, and turns, and unexpected situations. But like the Maori Star Compass or the North Star, our dream compass can help us right the boat and retake the course towards achieving our long term goals when the going gets tough.

It takes only 2 things to forge your own dream compass to guide you towards the vision for your life.

  1. Define exactly what you want to do, see, have, or be in the next 5 years, then work backwards from there to start figuring out what you need to do to reach your goal. The bigger the dream, the harder and longer the path. Make sure to write your goals down in as much detail as possible, and with pictures as well. Use the S.M.A.R.T. Method of goal setting. You need to set goals that excite you, because, trust me, there will be times when you don’t feel like pressing on. Your goals and your clear vision will pull you through those hard moments and impassion you to find a way to overcome incredible adversity.
  2. Daily, at least 3 times per day, ask yourself: “is what I am doing right now helping me achieve my long term vision?” If not, then figure out what you need to be doing instead, and DO IT. Don’t procrastinate taking the next most important step towards your goals by falling into the black hole of emails, or the molasses of watching TV for hours on end. Always take the most important next action every day, and watch as your dreams become reality.

Now go and build your dream compass.
